Connect your Strava account
Scratlas uses the Strava API to build a private country-and-region travel journal for the authenticated athlete.
What Scratlas collects
- Your Strava profile name and avatar.
- Activity summaries: name, sport, date, distance, time, elevation, and visibility-allowed activity location.
- Country and supported-region summaries derived from activity start points.
Coordinates are processed transiently on the server to resolve a country or region and are immediately discarded. They are never stored, logged, exported, or sent to the browser.
How long and why
The data is used only to display your private Scratlas. Activity summaries and every Scratlas result derived from them—including resolved countries and regions, dates, distances, activity types, totals, and passport stamps—share the same transient cache. Scratlas targets a complete revalidation from Strava within six days and does not display the cached activity data or its derived information after seven days without successful revalidation. Expired records are purged. Third-party providers may process data only as needed for application hosting, server execution, and server-side database storage.
You can withdraw consent with Disconnect & Delete Strava Data. Scratlas permanently deletes local Strava-derived data and gives you a written confirmation ID.
